How to learn faster while reading manga?
Six steps to using the platform's tools most efficiently.
Determine your level
Take the placement test on first login. The test measures your vocabulary and enables chapters of suitable difficulty to be recommended. It's not mandatory, but if you skip it, recommendations will be off.
You can retake the test anytime and update your level.
Choose a manga that suits you
In the library, each manga's language and difficulty level (A1–C2) are shown on the cover info. Choosing one level above your own is most efficient: encountering a few new words per page is ideal.
If the rate of words you don't know exceeds 10% per page, the manga is too hard for you.
Tap where you're stuck
Tap a word you don't understand; its translation, pronunciation, level, and type appear instantly. If you don't understand the whole sentence, tap the sentence for a translation. Both are free.
To avoid interrupting reading, guess first, then tap to check. Learning sticks better this way.
Add the word to your dictionary
Add words you want to encounter again to your dictionary. Added words enter the spaced repetition schedule.
Don't add every word. Choose words that block your understanding of the story; the rest will settle in as you read.
Don't skip your reviews
Words in your dictionary appear just when you're predicted to start forgetting them. The interval lengthens when you recall correctly and shortens when you struggle.
5–10 minutes of daily review is far more effective than a long session once a week.
Track your progress
You can see how many words you've learned, what level you've reached, and your day streak on the stats page.
Keep your daily goal small. An achievable goal is better than an ambitious but unfinished one.

The best learning method is the one you can sustain. Even one chapter a day is enough — the key is not to quit.
