Privacy Policy

2.Data We Collect

To provide the service we process the following data:

• Account information: your e-mail address, display name, the avatar you chose and your profile description, if any.
• Learning data: the chapters you read, your reading history, the words and sentences you added to your vocabulary, your vocabulary level, placement test results, daily goals, streak records and experience points.
• Interaction data: the comments you write, chat messages, likes, favourites, your reading list and your manga ratings.
• Moderation data: reports made about you, warnings issued to you and any writing restrictions.
• Payment data: your subscription plan, start and end dates, payment history and the transaction number generated by the payment provider.
• Billing details: the first name, last name, country, city and address we ask for with each payment. They are forwarded only to our payment provider iyzico so that your invoice can be issued; they are not stored on our servers and are requested again with every payment.
• Technical data: session cookies, your preferred language and theme settings, and push subscription details for your device if you granted notification permission.

Your credit card number, expiry date or CVV never reach our servers and are never stored by us. This information is sent directly to the payment provider.

3.How We Use Your Data

• To create your account, provide secure sign-in and maintain your session.
• To save your reading progress so you can continue where you left off.
• To measure your vocabulary, recommend manga at a suitable difficulty and build your review schedule.
• To verify your Premium subscription, process payments and provide your invoice history.
• To enforce community rules, review reports and prevent abuse.
• To send new chapter, reply and reminder notifications if you allowed them.
• To detect technical problems on the platform and improve service quality.

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for advertising purposes.

4.Third-Party Services

To provide the service we use the following infrastructure providers. These providers process your data only to provide services to us:

• Supabase — provides authentication and database hosting. Your account and learning data are stored here.
• Cloudflare R2 — used to store and deliver manga pages and images.
• iyzico — processes payments. Your card details are sent directly to iyzico and are never seen or stored by us. The billing details you enter at checkout are likewise forwarded through our server only to iyzico and are not stored by us.
• Groq — in the word and sentence analysis feature, the text you select is sent to an AI model to produce a grammar analysis. Your identity information is not sent with these requests.
• Web Push services — if you granted notification permission, notifications are delivered through your browser's provider (for example Google or Mozilla).

Some of these providers may host their servers outside Turkey. In that case your personal data is transferred abroad; by using the platform you are deemed to have given explicit consent to this transfer.

5.Cookies

We use only the cookies required for the service to work. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising or profiling.

• Session cookies: required to verify your identity when you sign in and keep your session open. If these cookies are deleted you are signed out of the platform.
• Preference records: choices such as language, theme (light/dark) and reading settings are stored in your browser.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; however, if you block session cookies you will not be able to sign in to the platform.

6.Data Retention

• Your account and learning data are kept as long as your account is active.
• Comments and messages you delete are kept on record for a while for moderation review and are not shown to users.
• Warning records expire automatically 6 months after they were issued; the record is kept as an audit trail.
• Payment and invoice records are kept for the statutory retention period required by tax legislation.
• When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.

7.Your Rights Under Data Protection Law

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it.
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
• To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad.
• To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
• To request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in the law.
• To object to a result against you arising from analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems.
• To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your data.

8.Data Security

The technical measures we take to protect your data include encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level access restrictions at the database level, irreversible storage of passwords and audit logging of administrator actions.

Nevertheless, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. For the security of your account we recommend using a strong, unique password.

9.Children's Privacy

The platform is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from this age group. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 13, we delete the related records.

Users under 18 are advised to use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes the update date at the top of the page is refreshed and, where necessary, a notice is given on the platform.

Continuing to use the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
